Ek Comic strip Khukhari ke naam

This one was created for 'craft research and documentation' which is a subject for design students at National Institute of Fashion Technology.As per the requirement of the subject I visited this tiny village called 'Khukari' where they practise stone craft.
I created this comic strip to help people get a better understanding of the craft.

BENARAS HUES

My first artwork has taken its inspiration from my favorite place on earth 'BENARAS'.While I digitally modified the colours of the artwork, the unruly sketch was done by hand(for anything remotely related to Varanasi is sacred for me!).

Breaking the ice

After months of persuasion and a long battle with lethargy i have somehow managed to start my blog.My name is Ananya Pradhan and i am currently studying textile design at NIFT Patna .

Although I am a textile design student, my ardor for paper is stronger than for textile. I love drawing rather i would call it trifling .. And further in my posts i intend to share some random and some not-so-random artworks of mine..
